Skurrile Figuren, kleine Wesen und subtile Details schlüpfen in meine Bilder hinein, treten in Dialog mit Chiffren, Textfragmenten und Farbe und erzählen augenzwinkernd Geschichten von ihrem bohemischen Lebensgenuss und ihrer unbekümmerten Welt mit dem Charme der 50er und 60er Jahre.

My work process is affected by constant searching and finding, organising and structuring of graphical material and patterns.
Bizarre figures, little creatures and subtle details squeeze into my pictures. They interact with codes, text fragments and colours. With a twinkle in their eyes, they tell stories of their bohemian enjoyment of life and their easy-going world with the congeniality of the 50’s and 60’s.
My pictures let me live and love; they make heavy things look light and colourful.
When working, I am told by the butterflies in my stomach where this journey will take me and who I really am.”
